Description Baby Steps
Baby Steps is a simulation game in which you guide a character named Nate, taking one step at a time, maintaining balance, and exploring a dreamlike, expansive environment. As you advance, the terrain grows tougher, and errors may lead to delays. The game focuses on a calming tempo rather than rapid movement, encouraging players to contemplate during their exploration
I’ve experienced Baby Steps (Build 20109007) and I’m amazed by the tension and intimacy of walking. Each step counts misstep once and you might trip or collapse. I cherish the silent moments while exploring, when I’m simply walking and listening. The challenge of the game resides in navigation and control rather than combat, making it both rewarding and frustrating. Progress seems deserved. At times, the controls seem clumsy, but that’s intentional in the design you feel the clumsiness. In general, it’s a reflective, distinctive experience that lingers with you once you finish playing.
